The work here republished is incredible valuable. Henry Cole was no mean theologian. The subject he handles is deep and yet the vital foundation of our most holy faith – if we have any right to call ourselves a Christian.  Was Jesus Christ sinless?  Was his body mortal? Did he have to die? Or was his death voluntary – a true and suitable sacrifice for our sins?
