The true story of Klaas Van der Weele, a country boy, who became blind when still only a young man. He was subsequently brought to realise his greater spiritual blindness and inability by nature. Delivered from strong Roman Catholic influences, he came to the Reformed faith through reading a Bible. God had answered the prayers of an old, godly gentleman who had moved into the area earlier, yet died without seeing their effect.
