They reflect a lifetime of ardent struggle for the advance of Christ’s kingdom, whilst also revealing a spirit of personal lamentation over sin, hope of mercy and confident trust in the providence of God, as coming in the name of the Lord Jesus. The prayers are conveniently arranged according to their particular themes and occasions.
