In this lecture by Henry Sant this fundamental truth of the Gospel is expertly examined from the Scriptures, and from some of Martin Luther’s fine expositions and comments upon the Holy Scriptures.  In particular, the godly Reformer’s view of the doctrine is considered from Psalm 2:7, and from Christ’s high priestly prayer in John 17.  We are left in no doubt as to Luther’s position regarding this fundamental Christian doctrine.
