This is the first of the tracts collectively known as ‘The Annals of the Poor’, written by Legh Richmond whilst a curate in the Isle of Wight at the beginning of the 1800s. A true story of his coming to know a poor dairyman of his parish and his daughter and of the grace that shone through them.
