This is the true story of a Reformed Christian family, the Lubberts, farmers in rural Holland, who joined the Dutch Resistance in the dark days of the Nazi occupation of their country during the Second World War. Their experiences prove that truth is indeed stranger than fiction, and also testify to God’s providential care of his people, and how he uses sufferings to draw them ever closer to himself.
