The Baptist Catechism here reproduced was first published in the last decade of the seventeenth century, and has since stood the test of time. It is based on – and largely agrees with – the Westminster Shorter Catechism, but is distinctively Baptist in doctrine, and has been used by Christians consistently throughout the last few centuries. Includes Scripture proofs from the Authorized Version.
